God still wants to let His people know that He cares about them in a personal way by anointing members of His church with the ability to speak His words to them directly. The members of the Body who speak these direct words are called prophets. Personal Prophecy by prophets is described as words spoken by the Holy Spirit to individuals about specific things they may need answers for or direction in. This makes people know that God is well aware of their immediate needs and that He has a plan for their future as well.Other members of the Body of Christ may speak prophetic words that are anointed to encourage, exhort and comfort the other members. While these words do not give direction, they are nevertheless an essential part in building up the members of the Body of Christ. Directional and futuristic prophecies are usually conducted by ministers (Fivefold Ministers) with proven prophetic words and ministry experience.
